Women in Agriculture Luncheon

The Women in Agriculture Luncheon inspires, motivates and delivers heartfelt stories from women who have a connection with agriculture. The lunch embraces women in a social environment, whilst highlighting topics through amazing and inspirational stories told by women in agriculture. The menu will be created by chef Sonia Anthony of Mason's of Bendigo and local female producers will be the feature of the day to tell stories about their produce, life, hardships and successes while you enjoy a delicious menu with award-winning wine and beer over plenty of laughs and great company.

ABOUT SONIA ANTHONY
After working in kitchens around the world, Sonia returned to Bendigo in 2012 with husband Nick to open hatted restaurant Masons of Bendigo.  Their ethos of supporting and sourcing all of the very best of Central Victorian produce shows throughout their food menu as well as their Victorian-only wine list.  Sonia's passion and commitment of supporting local has been unwavering with her involvement over the past 6 years in Food Fossickers Inc. (A Central Victorian Food Trade Network), The Bendigo Community Farmers Market and the many collaborations and educational opportunities she presents both in the restaurant and at her Central Victorian producers' farm gates.  She recently published her first book, A Sense of Place which translates those stories and highlights the resilience and passion it takes to grow the food we are able to enjoy.
