What is she doing: gardener and cook at Formosa Bites

Tang-Ya cooks Taiwanese street food with Tassie produce including lots from her own market garden near Orford on Tasmania's East Coast. Formosa Bites started small attending country markets at Bream Creek and Richmond with their street food from Taiwan and grew to deliver their first big event at Dark Mofo's Winter Feast in June 2018. The queues for their "squidlipops" (whole squid on a skewer, basted while cooked over charcoal) were crazy long. Tang & her partner Sam Gardener have been BBQ'ing the squid and serving braised pork belly, sesame noodle salad and kombucha at their food stall every Friday night in Hobart @streeteatsfranko.
